Corporate Responsibility
ING U.S. aspires to use its knowledge, skills, and resources to make a real difference in people’s lives. In our profession and in our communities, we are dedicated to helping people achieve financial independence and build more satisfying lives. The cornerstone of our approach is “empowerment” – providing individuals with the knowledge, tools, and opportunities they need to take charge of their financial lives and prepare for their future.
We maximize our community impact by aligning our charitable giving and partnership efforts with the core financial skills of our employees, and by concentrating our resources on people and communities facing economic, educational, or financial disadvantages. Our programming and partnerships focus on these areas: financial, literacy, children's education, diversity and environmental sustainability.
The ING “Partners in Empowerment” encompasses unique ING U.S. signature programs; national, local and community partnerships and sponsorships; special efforts such as disaster relief; and charitable giving from our employees and the ING Foundation.
The ING Foundation will never solicit funds or collect personally identifiable information for the purposes of soliciting funds. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in communities where ING U.S. operates and its employees and customers live. Through charitable giving and employee volunteerism, the foundation focuses on programs in the areas of financial literacy, children’s education, diversity and environmental sustainability. Please contact us at ingfoundation@us.ing.com if you are solicited to contribute money or asked to provide personally identifiable information to the ING Foundation.
