Compete to be a ‘Featured Runner’ in the ING New York City Marathon 2011

ING Runner’s Nation, a Facebook-based interactive forum for runners to learn, engage and share stories, is hosting a contest for ING New York City Marathon 2011 runners to become an ING Runner’s Nation “Featured Runner.”  Six Featured Runners will be given ING Runner’s Nation running wear and a Flip HD video camera to upload videos, photos and blog posts about their training leading up to the marathon.  Fans of the ING Runner’s Nation will vote on their favorite featured runner.  During race week, one of the six selected runners will be chosen for a VIP race-day experience, including luxury transportation to and VIP tent access at the start village.

To enter, runners must upload a short video (3 minutes or less) explaining why they should be picked as one of six ING Featured Runners.  The contest runs now through October 3.  In order to be eligible for this contest, runners must be a registered entrant in the ING New York City Marathon 2011, which will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011.  Check out the ING Runner’s Nation fan page to enter and get more details:
