ING Contributes $25,000 to the Green for Greensburg Fund to assist in tornado disaster relief

ING, a global financial services leader, announced today it has contributed $25,000 to the Green for Greensburg Fund to assist in the tornado disaster relief from the May 4, 2007 tornados. The Green for Greensburg Fund is administered by the United Way of the Plains in Partnership with United Ways across Kansas.

“The devastation and impact to the community is astounding,” said Bernie Heffernon, General Manager and Vice President, ING. “ING is committed to supporting communities in which we work, live and do business, and want to support the residents that were affected by this tragedy as they begin to rebuild their lives. ”

The Green for Greensburg Fund serves as a central collection point for anyone wishing to make a monetary contribution to help tornado victims in the Greensburg, Kansas, area.
