Dan Mulheran is responsible for leadership and management of all distribution for ING’s U.S. Individual Life business and of U.S. Insurance Sales Support. Before his current role, Mulheran was head of ING’s Independent General Agency Distribution Channel.

Prior to ING, Mulheran’s firm, Town & Country Financial Inc., offered insurance and investment planning support to 75 registered representatives and 400 brokers in the Minnesota area. Previously, he held a field management position with Great-West Life Assurance Company, in addition to running his own private insurance and financial planning practice.

Mulheran is a member of AALU, NAIFA, NAILBA, and the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is a former president of the Minneapolis Life Underwriters Association, and national committee member to the National Association of Life Underwriters. He was the Chair of the 2008 LIMRA Distribution Conference, the 2009 LIMRA Annual Meeting, and in 2010 was elected to the board of LL Global (LIMRA and LOMA). He also serves on the boards of Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest and Reliastar Life Insurance Company of New York.
