Lavallee is responsible for ING Employee Benefits distribution, including the group and voluntary distribution teams and overall marketing efforts throughout the U.S. Prior to her current role, she was a regional vice president and general manager of ING Employee Benefits for the West Region, based in California. ING U.S. offers traditional group life insurance, disability income insurance, and stop-loss insurance to employers, and voluntary benefits to employees.
Before joining ING in 2008, Lavallee worked at Mutual of Omaha as a regional vice president of the Group Insurance Division for their Western Region, and at Sun Life New York Insurance and Annuity Company, where she was responsible for marketing group life, short-term and long-term disability, and medical stop-loss insurance through insurance brokers and third-party administrators.
Lavallee holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Colby College and a masters degree in business administration from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business. She is a member of the Minneapolis Downtown Council. Lavallee was recognized as a winner of the 2012 Women in Insurance Leadership awards by Insurance Networking News.
