Karl Lindberg leads ING Financial Partners, which was formed early in 2004 with the consolidation of Locust Street Securities, Inc. and Washington Square Securities, Inc.

Lindberg has 25 years of experience in the financial service business. In 1991, Lindberg joined Locust Street Securities, as head of Sales Marketing and became president and CEO in 1999. ING acquired the company in 1997. He began his career, first as a registered representative with Kinnard & Company, then as an OSJ and branch manager with Mass Mutual in Minneapolis.

Under Lindberg’s leadership, ING Financial Partners’ annual sales have increased ten-fold over the past decade. He has been instrumental in growing ING Financial Partners to one of the top independently managed broker-dealers in the country, with $5.38 billion in annual sales.

Lindberg has an undergraduate degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with majors in economics and business management. He received an MBA from Drake University in Des Moines.
