President, Large Institutional Corporate and Individual Markets
Focus: 401(k)/Retirement Plans, Broker-Dealer/ING Financial Partners, Financial Advisors, Financial Communications, Financial Planning, IRA/Roth IRA
Rich Linton is president of Large Institutional Corporate and Individual Markets. In this role, Linton is responsible for all aspects of the business, which is focused on providing industry-leading recordkeeping services for large employer-sponsored 401(k) defined contribution and defined benefit plans, as well as financial planning and advice to pre-retirees, retirees and the rollover market. Linton is also responsible for overseeing the company’s branded broker-dealer serving a wide range of clients through over 2,400 financial advisors.
Linton brings a broad range of retirement industry leadership and expertise to the company. Prior to joining Voya, he was head of Business Retirement Solutions for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, delivering retirement product solutions to small businesses through Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Advisor Alliance, SEP/Simple, and Investment Only platforms. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of the advisor retirement group at Fidelity, where he held a variety of senior positions over the course of 20 years.
Linton received a Bachelor of Arts in economics and mathematics from Boston University.
