ING is proud to be the title sponsor of the New England Golf Classic, which is part of the LPGA’ Duramed FUTURES Tour. The LPGA’s Duramed FUTURES Tour is the developmental tour for the LPGA. The ING New England Golf Classic is held in July at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut.

The ING New England Golf Classic attracts more than 144 professional women golfers from throughout the US and around the world. Proceeds from the tournament benefit “Chip In For A Cure,” which supports breast cancer programs at Hartford Hospital and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

The tournament boasted more than 3,000 spectators in 2009 and set a record for volunteer involvement including more than 100 volunteers from the local ING office in Windsor, CT.
