Patrick Kennedy is head of Marketing and Advice for ING U.S. Retirement Solutions, a strategic business segment focused on guiding Americans on their journey to greater retirement readiness through employer-sponsored, tax-deferred savings plans, as well as through holistic advice, planning and a broad range of retail product solutions for customers nearing or in their retirement.
Prior to joining the company, Patrick was senior vice president and head of the Shared Resource Group for TIAA-CREF. He was responsible for financial planning and advice services, training and practice management, sales technology, field supervision, branch administration, beneficiary services, client experience, and process oversight and control.
Throughout his 30-year career in financial services, Kennedy has held senior-level positions at various companies, including Deutsche Asset Management, Zurich Insurance, Scudder Investments, Kemper Financial, First Chicago and Northern Trust.
Kennedy received his Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s College in Minnesota and his Master of Business Administration from DePaul University. Patrick holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses and the Illinois Insurance Producer’s license (all lines). He is a registered Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
